WAMC Northeast Public Radio Sales Representative in Albany, New York
WAMC Northeast Public Radio is seeking an Account Executive to develop sales of on-air sponsorships in the Greater Capital Region. Responsibilities include generating new business, cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing business partners, forging strong lines of communication with prospective clients, and developing proposals for clients that include WAMC as a strong branding opportunity.Candidates should have experience in sales, ideally in media. A self-motivated individual with strong lead generation and cold calling skills, and an understanding of the mission and purpose of public broadcasting, would excel in this position.Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, with an additional bonus structure based on performance.Submit cover letter and resume to James Farison, Underwriting Director, jfarison@wamc.org.
