CDPHP RFP and Sales Operations Technical Specialist in Albany, New York

The RFP & Sales Operations Technical Specialist will be responsible to the Supervisor, Sales Operations and is responsible for the facilitation, development, and ultimately the timely completion of all Request for Proposal (RFP) documents that support business development and account management activities for the Revenue Organization. The RFP & Sales Operations Technical Specialist also provides general sales operations support for the organization, as assigned by the Supervisor, Sales Operations, maintains a database to ensure efficiencies in the RFP process, and works with content to reflect latest product offerings, industry trends and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) number years of relevant experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of equivalent experience required

  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in a health insurance, health care or technology company with demonstrated ability in responding to RFPs or other technical writing projects preferred.

  • Knowledge of proposal processes; experience writing in the healthcare or managed care industries strongly preferred.

  • Experience with enterprise software.

  • Excellent writing, organizational, communication and planning skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, and critical thinking ability.

  • Ability to manage numerous active projects with competing deadlines.

  • Strong organizational, project management, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, matrix environment.

  • Ability to work with staff across various teams, while facilitating strong collaboration.

  • Ability to adapt to new, technology-driven tools (e.g., database, online procurement systems).

  • Intellectually curious, able to self-start initiatives. Exhibits owner mentality.

  • Technical writing experience is a plus, as it may assist with the job duties (examples include Grant writing, professional content development).

    CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
