CTG Research System Administration Deskside Support in Albany, New York

CTG is seeking to fill a Research System Administration Deskside Support opening for our client in Albany, NY.

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Duties:

  • Provide help desk support for end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues

  • Administer and maintain directory services

  • Assist with system builds and migrations

  • Perform deployment of systems and applications

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system issues

  • Support Powershell scripting for system automation

  • Collaborate with end users to resolve technical issues

  • Ensure system uptime and reliability

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with Linux systems

  • Proficiency in Powershell scripting

  • Ability to communicate effectively with end users

  • Experience with system builds and migrations

  • Administration and maintenance of directory services

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of help desk support experience

  • 2-3 years of system administration experience

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in relevant fields preferred

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
