UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Project Manager for Permits, Inspections, and Construction Systems for an onsite role in New York, New York. Position: The Project Manager will oversee the development and implementation of large-scale software application projects that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational business workflows. This role involves managing complex workflows, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, software development methodologies, and leading cross-functional teams.   SCOPE OF SERVICES: As a Project Manager, your responsibilities include:

• Leading development teams to implement workflow software applications.

• Defining project scope, schedules, budgets, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.

• Applying project management principles for tactical or strategic projects of high complexity.

• Monitoring project activities and resources to mitigate risks.

• Supervising programming staff for application development and ensuring quality assurance processes.

• Creating and maintaining strategic partnerships between business needs and technology delivery.

• Managing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes using methodologies such as Agile Scrum, Waterfall, or RUP.

• Using project management tools such as MS-Project, Jira, Primavera, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Visio.

• Proactively identifying stakeholder points of conflict, project risks, and issues while providing solutions to minimize impacts.

  MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience overseeing medium to large-scale projects with distinct deliverables and multiple workstreams.

• Proven ability to coordinate and delegate assignments for project teams numbering over 15.

• Skilled in acting as the point of contact for project status, meetings, scope changes, and resolving technical, administrative, and financial issues.

  DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in management, engineering, or technology-related fields.

• PMP Certification in Project Management.

• Expertise in building large-scale information systems and experience in asset management system development.

• Knowledge of GIS tools, map integration, and wireless/mobile/disconnected architecture applications.

• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Prior experience working on large-scale projects in highly regulated environments.
