Description We are a healthcare organization based in Albany, New York, offering a contract to permanent position for a Program Coordinator. This role primarily involves introducing new participants to our program, providing information about the services we offer, and offering continuous support throughout their program journey.

Responsibilities:

• Guide new program participants through the intake and onboarding process

• Inform participants about the various programs and services we offer, using different methods of communication such as phone, email, or in-person

• Oversee the completion of necessary paperwork, assessments, and ensure program compliance

• Provide program participants with resources on recruitment and employment processes for their own Personal Assistants (PAs)

• Respond to inquiries related to PA recruitment, employment, and onboarding via phone, email, or in-person

• Manage program caseload effectively by tracking and responding to the needs of program participants and their PAs

• Support our mission to advance community-based support and promote self-direction for seniors and people with disabilities

• Assist the team with various administrative tasks including answering phones, filing, copying, scanning, and emailing

• Maintain confidentiality of records and logs. Requirements

Experience Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a related field

Key Skills:

• Familiarity with various computer programs

• Experience with CRM systems

• Ability to manage answering inbound calls effectively

• Knowledge of authorizations processes

• Experience with benefit functions

• Understanding of billing functions

• Prior experience in call center customer service
