The Retail & Specialty Pharmacy Supervisor oversees pharmacy operations while working with the contracted specialty pharmacy accelerator vendor and report to the Director of Pharmacy. This role requires a strategic leader to enhance pharmacy services, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality patient care in retail and specialty settings.
Leadership & Management:
Supervise pharmacy staff, providing training and support to optimize team performance and development.
Collaborate with leadership to establish and implement pharmacy goals and strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Oversee daily operations of retail and specialty pharmacies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Partnership Management:
Act as a liaison with contracted Specialty Pharmacy Accelerator vendor, fostering a strong collaborative relationship.
Coordinate joint initiatives, ensuring alignment of goals and effective communication between teams.
Operationalize initiatives to expand specialty pharmacy services and improve patient access to medications.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and organizational policies.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high-quality standards in pharmacy operations.
Maintain specialty pharmacy dual-accreditation (URAC & ACHC) to maintain access to limited distribution drugs.
