Trinity Health Patient Care Tech - St. Peter's & Samaritan Hospitals - Clinical Resource Team - FT Days in Albany, New York

Patient Care Tech – Float between St. Peter's Hospital/Albany AND Samaritan Hospital/Troy

– FT 12hr Days 3 - 12hr shifts 7a-7:30p rotating weekends and holidays . Clinical Resource Team

What you will do:

  • Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

  • Learn the role of the PCT and the IA

  • Float to various units throughout both hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to float between St. Peter's Hospital/Albany and Samaritan Hospital/Troy

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding and ambulation

  • Taking vitals, patient care documentation

  • Managing supplies

  • What you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to do heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and standing for long hours

  • Completion of 1 week SPHP PCT Classroom training program

  • 4 weeks training on various units between St. Peter's Hospital/Albany and Samaritan Hospital/Troy

  • Reliable transportation required

  • Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

  • Pay Range:$17.25 - $25.00
