This position involves leading the electrical aspects of solar system installations and ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Master Electrician will work closely with the installation teams and project managers, providing expertise and guidance in all electrical matters.Key Responsibilities: Electrical Installations: Lead the electrical installation of solar PV systems, including panel wiring, inverter setup, and grid connection. System Design and Planning: Collaborate with engineers and designers in planning and executing electrical designs for solar installations. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes. Promote and adhere to strict safety standards and procedures. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in existing solar systems, providing efficient and effective solutions. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, promoting a culture of learning and professionalism. Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical installations. Customer Service: Engage with customers to explain the electrical aspects of solar installations and address any concerns with professionalism and expertise.
