Intel IP Alliance Manager in Albany, New York
Job Description
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Managing and building business relationships with IP alliance partners.
Aligning, collaborating with IP alliance partners on the IP roadmap to have critical IP available for mutual customers.
Legally interacting with IP vendors and Intel stakeholders for facilitating agreements.
Collaborating with Intel stakeholders on quality review of IP, to drive corrective actions and follow-up when required.
Building and managing the IP alliance portal, to align with the industry best practice.
Monitoring IP Alliance partners on-going activity and adherence to the IP Alliance requirements for continuing as a member of IFS IP Alliance program.
Presenting IP Alliance overview to prospective IP Alliance partners.
Engaging, reviewing IP vendor's qualifications for those vendors who apply for an IP Alliance program.
As a successful candidate, you must possess:
The ability to be a team player, with a demonstrated experience in influencing cross divisional teams to collaborate.
Analytical skills and experience formulating clear partner and technology strategies with cross-functional teams. Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of IC Product and Design domains, and familiarity with the Foundry-Fabless model
Demonstrable communication skills (verbal + written) and evidence of abilities to represent Intel externally.
Organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, and managing multiple activities.
Partnership approach to drive internal and external collaboration
Capacity to deliver presentations to any audiences.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and repertoire of skills
Fearless mindset for growth and passion for continuous learning
Understanding of foundry competitive landscape
Business acumen in the foundry or semiconductor IP is highly desired.
Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy preparation and communication.
Experience in managing customer, supplier or partner relationships.
Experienced in cross-functional and highly matrixed environments.
Experienced in support events, press release and promotions.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with business acumen/experience
6+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Technical management, technical sales, technical marketing at an EDA, Design IP or ASIC silicon IC company, and/or experience working in a Fabless-Foundry customer outreach environment.
5+ years of experience in any of the following:
Program or marketing manager at a leading-edge foundry, or as a product manager at a fabless semiconductor company, or as a program or product manager at EDA/IP company
Design enablement based on foundry process technologies, with emphasis on foundation IP (standard cell libraries, SRAM, general purposes I/Os) and interface IP (DDR/LPDDR/HBM, HDMI, MIPI, PCIe, SerDes and USB) development.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters’s DegreeElectrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical field with business acumen/experience or an MBA
Business acumen in the foundry or semiconductor IP is highly desired.
Familiarity with supply chain and supply agreements

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,410.00-$250,410.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
