Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

What’s a typical day as an Employment Specialist? You’ll be:

• Providing job development, job training (both intensive and extended), advocacy, and personal support services to individuals in the Supported Employment Program.

• Intervening to address performance and attendance issues.

• Communicating routinely with those involved in clients' case on their attendance, progress, and challenges.

• Maintaining and submitting complete case notes and reports on clients' activities.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience working with individuals with the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

• Are compassionate and have a strong desire to help people.

• Are organized, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
