CHC Addiction Services Art Therapist in Akron, Ohio
CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. We are currently looking for a motivated, conscientious Expressive Arts Therapist/ Art Therapist, to work full time in our behavioral health agency. The Expressive Arts Therapist will provide direct service to patients through individual and group counseling to help people with a variety of mental health disorders, including those who have experienced trauma.
Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or related field. Must have a current license from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a PC, PCC, PCC-S, LISW or LISW-S. Independent license as a LISW or PCC preferred. Must also have excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills, strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills and the ability to document their work.
