We have an exciting new position open for a very large company in Akron, Ohio. This is a permanent position and it offers tremendous room for growth. This truly is a wonderful opportunity to get in with an amazing organization.

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Akron, Ohio. The role involves handling accounts payable duties, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate customer records in a well-organized and detail-oriented manner. They are looking for a candidate with strong critical thinking skills and strong organizational skills. Prior Accounts Payable and accounting experience is a MUST.

The hours are Monday-Friday, standard flexible business hours. This is an in office position with an opportunity to work one day from home per week.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable activities in a timely and accurate manner

• Manage invoice processing and ensure all invoices are coded correctly

• Utilize Microsoft Excel maintain and update customer credit records

• Analyze processes and how to improve them

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure all financial data is accurate

• Execute data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status

• Assist with helping with issues that arise and troubleshooting

• Ensure all financial transactions are aligned with company policies and guidelines

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Adherence to confidentiality and data protection procedures

• High level of accuracy and efficiency in tasks

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
