Global Harvest Foods Forklift Operator in Akron, Colorado
POSITION: Forklift Operator
DUTIES: * Loads and unloads outgoing and incoming shipments * Picks and stages orders and loads for shipment * Performs physical inventory counts of finished products and ingredients * Prepares all outgoing shipment paperwork including Bills of Lading * Inspects lifts and forklifts on a daily basis * Performs equipment maintenance as directed
REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 1 year working with a sit-down forklift * Must have ability to understand, read and write basic English * A minimum of 6-12 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals * Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight, volume, and distance * Ability to comfortably lift 60lbs * Valid Driver s License * 18+ years of age
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or GED * Self-motivated, team oriented, with strong communication skills
WAGE: $18.50-$21.00/hour
SHIFTS: Days/ 40 hours a week
