Savannah River Mission Completion Program Manager - Conduct of Operations (ConOps) in Aiken, South Carolina
Overview
Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking a Program Manager - Conduct of Operations (ConOps) to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.
This Program Manager is responsible for Conduct of Operations (Conops) Program Management, and program transition subject matter expertise. Develops, promulgates, and maintains conduct of operations policies, standards, and guidance.
Responsibilities
Contributes to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the Company’s Conduct of Operations programs, providing overarching direction and guidance to facility organizations to enhance or improve operations.
Liaises with functional area managers to transition Site programs, ensuring identification and alignment with SRMC objectives, regulatory requirements, procedures, training, and execution.
Evaluates training and procedure content and processes to ensure conformance and effectiveness. Develops and implements training as warranted.
Assists facilities with issue investigations and corrective action programs to prevent event reoccurrence and improve overall Conops performance.
Ensures operational requirements are appropriately identified and incorporated into the design, planning, and execution processes and procedures
Acts as subject matter expert, point of contact, and representative both internally and externally for Conops programs and activities.
Leads and implements small to large sized, complex programs and improvement initiatives
Serves as technical subject matter expert on Operations programs, policies, procedures, projects and/or practices
Interprets and communicates site, company and/or departmental procedures or protocols
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with experience in a relevant engineering, operations and/or maintenance function; or
Associates of Science or Associates of Applied Science degree or non-technical Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in engineering, operations or maintenance function; or
High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in engineering, operations or maintenance function
Preferred Qualifications
Operations experience within a Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear facility/site
Demonstrated leadership experience
Familiarity with DOE Order 422.1 Conduct of Operations Program
General knowledge of Human Performance Improvement
In-depth knowledge of DOE, Federal, State, and Local regulations pertaining to operations, safety requirements, and risk reduction
Experience in conducting compliance assessments and/or Senior Supervisory Watch (SSW)

USD $113,000.00/Yr.
