Sensata Technologies, Inc. WHS Quality and standars coordinator in Aguascalientes, Mexico

Supervise and manage DL involved in repackaging in the WHS. Coordinate improvements in operating conditions and processes in the warehouse

  • Manage the resource for repackaging of FG-SHIP and RAW material, settings, coverage, training, capacity.

  • Promote a good work environment among repackaging personnel from different areas and shifts.

  • Make known non-negotiable non-negotiables (improper positions, providing safety equipment to security personnel).

  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking damaged material in FG, kitting and RAW areas.

  • Supervise and coordinate the distribution of personnel to comply with repackaging of the different areas.

  • Monitoring of needs vs. capacity of equipment necessary for repackaging and warehouse quality inspections, such as work tables, glued tape dispensers, zebra and RFID printers, skates, handheld, scanner and PCs

  • Prepare and monitor the preventive and corrective maintenance program for equipment based on the corresponding areas

  • Provide the necessary facilities for the development of all material handling and warehouse audits, both internal and external.

  • Ensure training and certification of repackaging employees.

  • Ensure multiskilling so that repackaging staff can provide support in different areas.

  • Supervise that repackaging information is recorded accurately, as it is later needed to make queries that help resolve discrepancies.

  • Organization and monitoring of LPA audits, as well as the monitoring and validation of actions.

  • Monitoring of 5S metrics of racks and workstations as well as performance measurement by supervisor, shift and area

  • Evaluation of compliance with on-time deliveries and application of satisfaction surveys to measure results from each warehouse area.

  • Deployment and monitoring of internal and external audit actions with supervisors from different areas.

  • Update in AGILE of material handling and warehouse standards, preparation of OCN's, quality alerts, visual aids and formats.

  • Organization and creation of material to project in monthly material management and warehouse assemblies.

  • Monitoring the training performance of warehouse personnel, carrying out theoretical exams and evaluation.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Associate degree with 1 year of experience, or at least 1 year equivalent work experience Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
