Sensata Technologies, Inc. Trade Compliance Specialist in Aguascalientes, Mexico

The role of the Trade Compliance Specialist is to ensure that Sensata comply for fiscal, customs and all additional related legal regulations in Mexico and other countries for import and export purposes.

General Responsibilities

  • Assure the application of regulations and duties preferences in the customs declaration and related paperwork according to each kind of customs operation.

  • Analyze and execute all the determined processes related to the import and export operation.

  • Assure the correct invoicing process in the Annex 24.

  • Ensure the correct Customs regime in the import and export operation according to the type of material and Purchase Order.

  • Provide to the Customs Broker the correct and complete required paperwork that supports the customs operation.

  • Assure the reliability, integrity, and accuracy of data registration according to each customs operation.

  • Assure the optimization of the customs operation cost and scale any potential issue when needed.

  • Keep and open and effective communication with the rest of the Trade Compliance team and other Sensate departments to determine the correct strategy and solutions according to the case when needed.

  • Maintain updated the knowledge in regulations, best practices, automation, techniques and performance standards.

  • Assure the compliance of all the procedures, policies, goals and standards related to Security, Human Resources and Trade Compliance.
