Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will DoPratt & Whitney Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic and multi-disciplinary engineering organization focused on the development, integration, certification and support of military and commercial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems and related sub-systems. The CDS organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Senior Engineer to join our world-class organization. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.Responsible for the design, development, modeling, verification and/or implementation of solutions to control dynamic mechanical, power, and electric systems.Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software, hardware or systems requirements and designs.Conduct iterative testing and reviews of requirements and designs.English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak EnglishQualifications You Must HaveBachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree in Engineering and 3 years of engineering experience.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Travel for this role is up to 10%.Qualifications We PreferBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical engineering.2 years of programming knowledge in C++, MATLAB, Java, or Python.1 year of Knowledge of the components and operation of gas turbine jet engines.1 year of experience with modeling tools for complex systems (NPSS, Dymola, Simulink).US Security Clearance is preferred; willing to obtain and maintain.What We Offer:Employee Scholar ProgramLearn More & Apply Now!CDS develops complex, cyber-resilient control systems and software for commercial and military engines including power and thermal management Systems and auxiliary power units.
