Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to established set of tools aimed at evaluating materials to identify the presence and extent of prohibited or hazardous substances used in hardware manufactured by Honeywell. You will review new designs to ensure material and processes meet customers’ need. You will perform standard work to support new products such as (but not limited to) Hazardous Material Analysis, Flammability Test Reports and Fungus Analysis. In addition, you will apply expertise to support materials and processes issues and potential failure analyses.

Cost estimation
Design Reviews and material analysis report
Engineering assistance
Drive process improvement
Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required - 5%
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
3+ years of Chemical, Material, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry experience
3+ years of experience in drawing review and materials selection/analysis
Ability to read, write and speak English
WE VALUE
Some knowledge of hazardous material analysis
Some knowledge of Environmental Regulations
Experience using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Experience with aerospace materials & processes
An open, honest and team-oriented personality
