Joni and Friends Program Specialist in Agoura Hills, California
Duties
Program Management
Assist in the development of operations program guides supporting the successful implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned projects
Schedule project meetings, coordinate with team members, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes as needed to achieve program goals
Coordinate program activities, resources, and timelines to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of deliverables
Monitor assigned program expenses and provide regular updates on expenditures
Assist in identifying potential risks and challenges associated with program implementation, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risk factors throughout the program lifecycle
Regularly assess program outcomes, gather feedback from stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency
Prepare comprehensive reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and evaluation findings, to communicate program results through regular status reports and meetings
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, program effectiveness methodologies, and ministry best practices
Develop program training materials that are tailored to the needs of the organization and the programs. This includes identifying learning objectives, selecting appropriate training methods, and creating training materials such as slides, handouts, and presentations
Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, file management, and other duties as assigned to support program compliance
Coordinate with Partners, Event Managers, and Team Leaders to uphold excellence in program delivery
Submit requests to external departments for assigned program support
Assist with support inquiry responses for assigned projects
Conduct program audits as needed 1-3 times annually
Support the overall strategic objectives for assigned projects and programs
Provide recommendations for process improvements applicable to assigned programs
Other duties and projects as assigned by the Supervisor to support department and organizational needs
Qualifications
Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
3+ years of related experience required
Bachelor’s degree required, or relevant experience
Capable of working well in a team environment and committed to professionalism and respect in interactions with coworkers and people served by the ministry
Ability to confidently provide support and guidance to event leadership
Compensation $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
