As a Water Technician at the Thrill Capital of New England... You\'ll contribute to our mission by: Testing the pool-water and make any necessary adjustments in water chemistry to meet the standards Maintaining the filtration/circulation systems, including regular backwashing of the filter media and cleaning of the hair strainers and skimmer baskets Maintaining the general pool area, and making any necessary minor repairs to insure the safety of the public Informing the Senior Water Technician when supplies and chemicals are needed Taking appropriate steps in the event of a shut-down due to weather or other unplanned conditions Performing daily opening, operating, and closing procedures You\'ll do it with your: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner Sense of fun Friendly, outgoing personality, and ability to address team member concerns Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language You\'ll know you\'re ready if you are: Willing to work in a high performance team environment Willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc. 18 years old or older with a valid driver\'s license and clean driving history Six Flags New England is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a Drug Free Workplace
