General Production Worker

$21/hr

Job Description

You will be working in the lock ring department as a machine operator, specifically operating the roller machine. Daily duties include, but not limited to: receiving work order for the day, turning on & setting up machinery, feeding parts into machinery, and making small adjustments as required. General shop duties required as well.

Skills Requirements:

• 6+ months of industrial shop experience

• Mechanical aptitude/machine operation experience

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Willingness to learn overhead crane, forklift, and sandblast operations

Work Environment

Our client is a large heavy industrial manufacturing company that just moved into a brand new building. There are approximately 40 people on the production floor and 5 people in the maintenance department. A lot of the employees are long tenured, and it is a family-oriented department with a strong safety culture. The work environment is loud and noisy, with a paint smell in a bright and enclosed warehouse.

Benefits:

Extended benefits are after 3 months.
