FIRST FINANCIAL BANK N.A. Loan Operations Specialist I - Abilene Main in Abilene, Texas
**SCOPE/CONTACTS: Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate accounting history on all notes. Also, "hands on" accountability for all notes held in a secured area. There is frequent contact with customers, lending staff, other Holding Company Banks, loan assistants, and other banks by phone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accept and process note payments, new notes and renewed notes including data input to the system for multiple banks.
- Accurately and efficiently input new loans within Banks core loan system
- Communicate effectively with customers in person and on the phone.
- Assist lending staff and backroom departments with loan related questions.
- Become familiar with our loan systems that you can be relied upon to recognize problems.
- Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Communication and mathematical skills normally acquired by a high school graduate.
- Twelve to eighteen months banking or similar administrative experience required.
- Loan operations experience preferred.
- Type 45 wpm, 10 key by touch.
