Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Mid and Senior-level Radar Systems Engineer's to join a Research and Development team at the US Army C5ISR Center in Aberdeen, MD. This opportunity allows you to showcase your industry knowledge and impact the next generation of DoD radar systems at your fingertips. You will be responsible for building complex simulations, leading live test events, and conducting original research into advanced signal processing techniques as well as new tactical uses for existing Army assets provide. Daily, you will work alongside radar subject matter experts and government stakeholders to understand the needs of future warfighters and guide development of current and experimental systems to better support these requirements.

The work completed will directly influence the development of cutting-edge military technology and will help to improve the effectiveness of the warfighter. Challenge accepted?

Skills and Requirements

· B.S. in electrical engineering, physics or a related field

(not computer science)

  *2+ years' experience with radar signal/data processing

 · 2+ years of experience with MATLAB

· Experience with radar simulation and test

design

 · Experience with phased array radar

systems

 · Understanding of object-oriented programming

 · Understanding of basic radar hardware (antennas,

ADC/DAC, mixers, amplifiers etc.)

· Active Secret Clearance Minimum (SCI eligibility) · M.S. in electrical engineering

 · 5+ years of experience with radar signal processing

 · 5+ years of professional experience building

simulations for phased array radar systems

 · Experience with radar hardware testing / design

 · Experience leading development of new radar systems

 · MATLAB expertise

 · C++ experience

· Active TS / SCI Clearance null
