Job Description: The City of Aberdeen Public Works Department is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Public Works Laborer. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of streets, parks, water systems, and other public infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and curbs
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with snow removal during winter months
- Perform routine maintenance on city vehicles and equipment
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of water and sewer systems
- Participate in emergency response activities as needed
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
