The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will be a member of the UK EPI Environmental Operations Team supporting operations inclusive of production, drilling and well management. This team is key in delivering environmental compliance and reducing our environmental impacts.

The Operations Environmental Team supports the identification and management of environmental risks, compliance and continuous improvement for the Mariner field and Equinor operated activities, though not exclusive the Environmental Coordinator is required to:

  • Develop a close working relationship and work proactively with the onshore and offshore teams to provide timely and accurate environmental data and enhance environmental awareness.

  • Deliver accurate data handling, interrogation, management and timely communication to meet internal and external environmental reporting requirements.

  • Support with the development and tracking of permits and consents, as required.

  • Act as focal point for the Environmental Representatives offshore and our Waste Management vendor, promoting environmental best practice and enhancing environmental awareness.

  • Support investigations and compliance assurance activities, including audits, as required.

  • Follow company Standards, Procedures, & Policies and hold others to account to do the same.

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, i.e. engineering or scientific subject preferably environmental engineering, marine biology or environmental related or considerable technical experience in a similar role.

  • Well developedcommunication and influencing skills and be able to work effectively across the business.

  • Excellent time management, prioritisation of work and organisational skills.

  • Strong planning and analytical skills, proficient in tools such as EXCEL,PowerBI.

  • Solution driven, proactive response to environmental challenges which may arise.

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and influence others; embraces change and continual improvement.
