Aerotek CNC Machinist- 1st Shift in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania

Description:

CNC machinist needed to program and machine parts for sub assemblies that will be used in the custom manufacturing machinery that is being produced in this shop. They are looking for a Journeyman Machinist ideally ( journeyman papers not needed if you have HBM experience ). Must be able to setup, operate, perform offsets, program parts (mostly conversational programming), perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.) The Ideal candidate has any experience in machining weldments and have experience with Horizontal Boring Mills.

1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm (if candidates need 7am-3:30pm this can be accommodated)

Pay: $27-32/hr

  • Horizontal boring mill

  • Conversational programming

  • Mazatrol and Intercon programming

  • CNC milling centers

  • Setups

  • Offsets

  • Experience machining weldments

  • Blueprint reading

  • Precision measuring tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Ideally looking for someone with 7-10 years of on the job CNC Machining/programming experience.

-Seeking machinists with job shop background who are comfortable with tight tolerances and custom work.

-Jumpy work history will not be considered.
