The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL Corporate location in the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the Area Controller this role is a key finance role supporting ANI Latin America commercial operations. Key contributor of the ANI Latin America Finance leadership team, providing direct support to the Area DVP and Area Finance Director. Responsible for understanding and communicating the broader commercial strategy and in highlighting performance against key metrics to proactively highlight potential risks/opportunities.
What You’ll Work On
Establishing, maintaining, and controlling financial planning processes to deliver meaningful and comprehensive Plans and LBEs, assuring compliance with Division requirements.
Plays a leadership role in identifying trend anomalies/risks/opportunities in sales and P&L forecasts.
Responsible for understanding the main Area and Division commercial strategies across the Latin America markets and help to create effective analyses/communication to present financial components to Sr Area and Division Leadership
Act as a key liaison with Demand Planning and Marketing Analytics team to ensure connection of key market and financial results/forecasts, playing a key role in the S&OP process.
Act as a key liaison with Affiliate Finance and Commercial leadership teams to learn how they operate, understand their key issues and elevate as appropriate to Sr Area and Division leaders. Also provide key linkage of Corp/Division initiatives back to the Affiliates.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and backup schedules to assist finance and commercial leadership in decision-making process.
Provide finance leadership to Division and Corporate strategic initiatives such as Margin & Profitability (M&P) programs, cash flow, and other cost saving and value creation initiatives.
Responsible for Area headquarter budget and control processes.
Manages two Finance Supervisor direct reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. CPA/MBA is preferred.
10+ years of relevant finance experience with strong analytical, time management and people skills. Requires effective communication skills with all levels of management, inside and outside of finance.
Individual must be a self-starter who works independently as well as within a team.
Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP and international financial policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting an international organization is a plus.
Previous experience managing a team a plus.

The base pay for this position is $127,300.00 – $254,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
