Otter Co-op is hiring a Full Time Produce Manager to join our team at our Mt Lehman Food Store, Abbotsford, BC.

What you will do:
Manage the Produce Department in accordance with the company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards, and overall expectations
Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, financial and marketing strategies
Develop and administer action plans to achieve the desired results of the business plan.
Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of operational and financial results including, sales, margins, expense, inventory and SPEH for your department
Provide leadership in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) including participation in OH&S activities, ensuring team members understand and comply with OH&S policies, procedures, and legislation
Maintain guest service standards by tracking, monitoring and follow-up of guest comments and complaints in a timely efficient manner
Perform or assist with team performance reviews and action plans for development
Provide excellent service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner and within approved programs, policies, and procedures
Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations Management and:
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years retail experience
Must have a minimum 2-3 years experience managing/supervising others
Previous retail management experience is an asset
Previous Produce department experience is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and the ability to manage computer files efficiently
Effective interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Motivation and ability to work in a busy environment
Effective planning, organization, and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate the ability to maintain relationships outside of the organization that support the organization
Must be available 7 days a week to work between early mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
This position is based at the Mt. Lehman Food Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
