Akima Vehicle Fleet Admin Sr. /Sr. Motor Vehicle Mechanic (OCONUS Classified) Site H in a classified OCONUS location, North Carolina
Tracks vehicle records including new and existing vehicles. Maintains accurate records of vehicles. Ensures compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance. Schedules repairs or preventative maintains. Creates inspection schedules and ensures that they are kept. Performs work under general supervision. Typically requires BA and 2-4 years.
Responsibilities
- Be familiar with Commercial and Military vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruiser and Hilux platforms, MRZRs, Polaris ATVs various types, LTATVs, Generators, Bobcats, Forklifts, Containerized Refrigeration Units, and various other commercial type vehicles and other power-driven equipment.
Qualifications
Must possess an active security clearance SECRET or higher.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Requires Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Mechanic Certification or equivalent and approximately 10 years of experience on military or commercial vehicle.
