Terminal Manager

Job Summary:

Manage all transloading operations and all other day-to-day operational activities at our Grand Rapids location to assure all related activities are accomplished in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner. Supports and enhances the service necessary to meet objectives within established budget. This position will maintain and enforce company rules and policies in conjunction with quality, productivity and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Managing site performance relative to financial and productivity goals, developing, implementing and monitoring corrective actions where appropriate;

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, FRA and DOT regulations;

• Ensuring compliance with customer and company safety policies and procedures;

• Ensuring all subordinates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures and site SOP's;

• Ensuring associates are properly trained on their jobs work instructions;

  Requirements:

• Should have 2 or more years of management level experience including P&L responsibility.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, the customer sometimes requires us to work weekends and holidays

• Experience managing associates

• Railroad experience is highly desired.

• Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment
