At BWXT, our Talent Management team is pivotal in aligning development programs with the strategic goals of the organization. In this position, you’ll support key programs such as Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development. This is a hybrid work position which we consider to be a combination of remote and onsite work at our Lynchburg, VA downtown campus. The ability to travel to facilities/locations across the U.S. & Canada, may be necessary from time-to-time to complete work assignments. As a Talent Management Coordinator, you will:
Provide project support and maintain detailed records for talent management initiatives.
Assist in the coordination and delivery of training sessions.
Identify areas for improvement within talent management and propose solutions that align with organizational goals and values.
Partner with management and employees to foster career development.
Prepare talent management communications that align with organizational priorities and objectives.
Dive into HR data to identify trends, track performance, and help talent management make informed decisions about programs.
Develop data visualizations summarizing key data trends for broader organizational consumption such as but not limited to reporting on DE&I, succession planning, and performance reviews.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have five (5) or more years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or related field.
Must be independent and self-motivated, demonstrate strong analytical skills and creative thinking.
Must be well versed in Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used software packages.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to travel occasionally, as necessary.
Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field. A bachelor’s degree may substitute for years of experience.
Manufacturing and/or nuclear experience.
Prior demonstrable experience in continuous improvement . A Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence certification.
Pay: $ 54,000 - $ 80,000
The base salary range for this position in VA at the start of employment is expected to be between $54,000 and $80,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
