Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Missile Software Engineer to join our Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Integration Support Contract (ISC) 2.0 team! In this role you will provide Software Engineering services at the Senior Engineer level and technical leadership of an engineering team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead a highly efficient and effective engineering team.
Ensure project-critical resources are available and efficiently utilized.
Assign and supervise personnel according to professional knowledge and experience assuring quality deliverables in accordance with contract.
Interface with, and provide project compliance and progress updates to, senior-level client/contract management.
Manage code quality through version control, code review, automated software builds, and automated unit testing.
Manage multiple Stakeholder needs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS (Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering) + 10 years of related engineering experience OR BS (Engineering discipline) AND MS (Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering) + 7 years of related engineering experience OR MS (Engineering discipline) AND PhD (Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering) + 4 years of related engineering experience
Must have a current aactive Secret security clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret security clearance with SSBI within last six years.
Highly organized, detail oriented, demonstrated problem-solving.
3+ years progressive responsibility providing technical leadership.
Systems Engineering experience and/or Systems Engineering certification.
Ability to perform complex calculations and mathematical modeling.
Strong programming skills in, but not limited to, C++, R, Python, and/or Structured Query Language (SQL).
Experience working in Agile, Spiral, Waterfall, and hybrid software developments.
Experience with configuration management standards and techniques.
Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national, and international industry standards.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Current active TS/SCI with ability to pass polygraph exam upon request.
Professional Engineering License.
Working knowledge of ICBMs and Air Force acquisition lifecycle management.
Working knowledge of Air Force Systems Engineering processes.

Secret
