Key job responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define software project scope and requirements.

• Lead cross functional development on new product from design through delivery.

• Drive the project team to deliver results that meet the requirements of project schedule, quality, and stakeholders.

• Communicate regularly with senior management and project stakeholders on status, risks and change control.

• Manage and maintain relationships with vendors.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with a technical discipline, or equivalent experience required.

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in technical program / software project management in a consumer electronics environment.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience defining project, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets.

• Experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature and technology selection.

• Cross-team coordination and executive presentation skills are essential.

• Demonstrable experience in project management, and coordinating / driving release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or advanced technical degree desired;

• Creative leader with superior analytical and summarizing abilities;

• Knowledge with Linux kernel/BSP development experience is a strong plus;

• Experience in Linux Yocto will be a plus.

• Knowledge in smart speaker development is a strong plus;

• Previous working experience as embedded software developer is a plus.
