What youll do

As a Principal Product Manager for Supply Chain Collaboration, you are a highly motivated, multi-disciplined, and experienced team player with a strong background in supply chain/procurement, and passion for product management, and an urge for delivering cutting-edge products in a dynamic result-driven environment.

  • Define the SAP Business Network product scope and roadmap for direct material and supply chain collaboration processes

  • Deliver on a vision, strategy, and roadmap and share this with the wider team and its stakeholders, partners, and customers worldwide

  • Oversee the business requirements gathering from internal stakeholders, partners, and customers and manage their expectations ensuring excellent collaboration and relationship

  • Define business requirements, user stories, and other development tasks, then compose the technical backlog while demonstrating leadership for your development scrum teams

  • Manage and set expectations and goals for development teams, internal stakeholders, customers, analysts, etc.

  • Prepare, publish, demo, and present the product domain internally, on social media and in customer-facing events

  • Write the business strategy paper to complement the autonomous finance product visualization.

  • Work with the UX researchers to identify the biggest pain points to address in the prototype.

  • Development experience on projects in the space of AI and Cloud

  • Keep abreast of relevant industry and technology trends and best practices

What you bring

  • Experience and Track Record: 10 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Architect with a proven track record in working with cross teams, product planning, defining and launching successful products, customer-facing activities, unifying product portfolios, and working with SaaS product lines.

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Domain expertise: Supply Chain Collaboration with industry experience, Spend Management areas focusing on Procurement, and Excellent technical understanding of cloud computing technologies, and cloud software lifecycles, as well as agile/scrum development.

  • Experience in the field of Supply chain and planning, like demand planning, supply planning, market intelligence, optimal assortment/pricing/inventory and Supply Chain modelling will be a key requirement.

  • Previous experience in large-scale cloud platform/s development - advantage. A deep understanding of enterprise software advantage.

  • Communication skills Ability to manage stakeholder expectations including customers. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and in written form, with fluent English

  • Technical background: Understanding Cloud-native development processes and product management mindset will be critical for this role.

  • Results-driven: a driver for execution with proven project management and leadership skills (leading with and without authority)

  • Decision maker: analytical abilities, innovative and creative problem solver, with an obsession for details

  • Education: Bachelors or masters in computer science or equivalent - mandatory.

  • Global: Readiness to travel abroad, ability to work closely with multiple locations, cultures, and time zones.
