We are seeking the brightest minds to join our experienced team working on the nation’s most complex engineering programs.

JP9347 Joint Integrated Control System is a critical project which aims to modernise and expand the ADF’s Joint Data Networks.

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to shape the engineering program for the project and play an instrumental role in creating the future of Joint Data Networks in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a global team of engineering leaders to develop and integrate a state-of-the-art solution

• Lead an engineering and technical project team which delivers a solution conforming to the standards, practices, and processes that are part of the Raytheon Engineering Management System.

• Guide the system design and act as the design authority.

• Deliver major reviews including preliminary design reviews, detailed design reviews and test readiness reviews

• Partner with program management in long-range program planning for new or projected areas of technological research and advancements.

• Act as a key spokesperson in relation to the program’s technical capabilities and future directions.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Contemporary experience with Tactical Data Links and the ADF’s Joint Data Network

• Minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience

• Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams

• Experience in the development, delivery, and integration of complex military electronic systems.

• Experience as a design authority in an Authorised Engineering Organisation.

• Eligible for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
